Rallying from a 30-14 hole in the fourth quarter, the Seattle squad emerged victorious 38-37 at home, notching their fifth straight victory.
While the Los Angeles had already secured a post-season spot earlier on Sunday, the Seahawks secured their place to the postseason after a two-year hiatus.
With this outcome, the Seattle have taken over their division's race with a 12-3 mark, supplanting the Rams, who dropped to the fifth playoff position with an eleven and four standing.
